THE ROLE

As a Field Service Technician based in Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in the assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of automated packaging machinery. Your key responsibilities encompass:

• Installing and commissioning new equipment
• Conducting servicing, repairs, and fault finding
• Implementing modifications and upgrades to existing machines
• Offering technical support and guidance to colleagues when required

ABOUT YOU

To excel in this position, you should possess proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial food packaging equipment and/or automated machinery. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work independently will be valuable assets to my client's national service team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• A Grade Electrical Licence (may consider disconnect/reconnect)
• A comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites for installation and service work as needed
• Availability for occasional overtime and weekend work as required
• A valid driver's license
