THE ROLE

As a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer, you will provide highly technical leadership and expertise to guide junior engineers in project work, designs, and technical problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with a team of engineers, providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
• Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate project requirements and propose innovative solutions
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our services and offerings
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project progress

ABOUT YOU

You will be a highly skilled and motivated engineer, with a proactive and innovative mindset. As a successful candidate seeking a long-term role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Electrical Engineering Degree (Australian Accredited)
• RPEQ/V qualified (or the ability to obtain in first 12 months)
• Demonstrated experience across Mining, Oil & Gas and/or Renewables
• Proficiency in software packages such as SKM PTW, ETAP, PowerFactory, PSCAD, and PSSE (ADVANTAGE)
• Extensive experience in developing reports, specifications, and technical papers in a professional engineering environment
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to guide and support junior engineers in project work, designs, and technical problem-solving.
• In-depth knowledge of International Standards, Australian Standards, and relevant legislative requirements.
