THE ROLE

Following the successful pilot of a new BEMS (Building Energy Management System) software, developed in partnership with world-leading technology providers, my client is seeking a BEMS Sales Engineer based in Brisbane or Melbourne. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert in BEMS, working closely with clients to understand their needs, design tailored solutions, and ensure compliance while staying within budget. Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities from large national businesses
  • Deliver engaging presentations and respond to technical enquiries about the system’s capabilities and integration possibilities
  • Responsible for conducting site surveys, designing system architectures, and providing training and support to clients' technical staff
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings

 


ABOUT YOU

You are a highly technical engineer with a proactive and innovative mindset, always seeking new business development opportunities. As a successful candidate seeking a long-term role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Relevant degree with at least five years of industry experience
  • Strong technical background in building automation and control systems, with a solid understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and work effectively within a team
