The Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in our continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to take ownership of challenging projects, mentor colleagues, and advance their career within a supportive and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Undertake LV/MV electrical distribution design and power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, fault current, arc flash, and protection coordination studies.
• Plan, organise, and conduct thorough reviews of design documentation, design changes, and ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all project work adheres strictly to project scope, relevant Australian standards, regulatory requirements, and health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and professional improvement.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, from initial scope definition and requirements gathering through to successful completion.

About You:

You will already be a Senior Electrical Engineer or looking for that step up, with proven experience in taking full ownership of projects from inception to completion, coupled with substantial electrical engineering experience across diverse sectors. Seeking a long-term opportunity, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:

• Electrical Engineering degree qualified - Australian recognised qualification
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) certification or demonstrated eligibility to obtain it within 6 months.
• Solid hands-on electrical design experience.
• Prior team leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience is highly valued.
• Proficiency in the use of Power Simulation software (e.g., PowerCad, ETAP, PowerFactory, DigSilent).
