THE ROLE

Due to continued department growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Supervisor to join the team out of Brisbane South. This position is responsible for Supervision and Management of the repair, maintenance and operational knowledge of Ariel, Rotating Equipment, Compressors and Gas Engines. Key responsibilities include:

• Directly supervise and manage a small team of tradesmen and apprentices, overseeing all field operations, personnel and equipment movement, workflow, and ensuring the consistent achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPIs, including performance reviews and on-the-job training.
• Regular travel throughout Western QLD (Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles, Roma), plus 3-4 trips annually to Newcastle to perform maintenance on site
• Ensuring a safe work environment, conducting OHS&E and quality audits, maintaining equipment according to policy, and ensuring compliance with all legislative and customer requirements.
• Responsible for efficient administration, accurate reporting, coordinating the IMS Management System, and updating critical field-related documentation like JSAs and SOPs.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a natural leader capable of direct supervision, managing a small team of tradesmen and apprentices, fostering their development through training, and conducting fair performance reviews. You must be able to set clear directions and build trust. You will also:

• Possess a Mechanical Advanced Diploma/Trade or related discipline
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with management, staff, and clients, manage complaints, and negotiate skillfully in challenging situations
• Proven hands-on experience (4-5 years minimum) and deep, practical knowledge in the repair, maintenance, and operation of Ariel, Rotating Equipment, Compressors, and Gas Engines.
• Exceptional organisational skills to manage workflow, coordinate personnel and equipment movement, and ensure targets are met. 
• Must be prepared for and capable of regular, independent travel 
• Essential Certified Operator: Ideally possess the following valid certifications:
• Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (Greater than 3T)
• L.F. Forklift
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
• White Card (Construction Induction)
