THE ROLE

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading and mentoring a team of engineers, providing technical direction and oversight on a diverse range of projects. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Leading the design and engineering of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, mining, industrial and oil and gas.
• Conducting power systems studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
• Developing detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborating effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Staying at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly motivated and accomplished electrical engineer with a proven track record of success in delivering complex projects across various sectors. You possess exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence. To excel in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Australian Accredited).
• RPEQ/V qualification (or eligibility to obtain).
• Extensive experience in the design and engineering of electrical systems for renewable energy, mining, and/or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., ETAP, SKM PTW, PowerFactory, PowerCAD).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
