The Role

Based in the vibrant heart of Brisbane, you'll step into a pivotal role as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Here, you'll play a crucial part in working closely with junior engineers on projects related to the delivery of System Design for a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will also include:

•  Guiding and championing a team of talented engineers through every phase of the project lifecycle.
•  Diving deep into technical analysis and feasibility studies to unearth project requirements and engineer groundbreaking solutions.
•  Staying ahead of the curve with the latest industry trends, cutting-edge technologies, and best practices, then weaving them into our services to enhance offerings.
•  Ensuring every project adheres to ambitious schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
•  Building strong bridges with clients, stakeholders, and your team, providing transparent and timely updates on project milestones.

About You

You're a highly skilled and motivated engineer, with a proactive and innovative mindset. If you're seeking a long-term role where you can leave your mark, you'll possess these essential skills and attributes:

•  An Electrical Engineering Degree from an Australian-accredited institution.
•  RPEQ qualified (or ready to achieve it within your first 12 months).
•  Expertise in the intricate dance of Power System analysis, including Load flow, Short Circuit, Protection Coordination, Arc flash assessment, and Harmonic analysis. (ADVANTAGE)
•  Proficiency with industry-leading software packages like SKM PTW, ETAP, PowerFactory, PSCAD, and PSSE. (ADVANTAGE)
•  Experience crafting impactful reports, precise specifications, and insightful technical papers within a professional engineering environment.
•  Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven knack for guiding and empowering junior engineers through project work, designs, and complex technical challenges.
•  In-depth knowledge of International Standards, Australian Standards, and all relevant legislative requirements.
