Senior Project Engineer | Major Gas Project | FIFO TO NORTHERN TERRITORY


THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a well-established and expanding EPC and O&M Services contractor with a formidable presence in the Australian market. Our client delivers comprehensive technical solutions across the oil and gas, renewables, mining, and power sectors. This is a 9 month contract on a 20/8 roster commencing site work in mid March, supporting the delivery of a major new EPC Gas Gathering, Compression Facility.



THE ROLE

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will hold front-line responsibility for the successful implementation of engineering designs and the seamless flow of technical documentation to construction teams.

  • Maintain up-to-date revisions of all onsite engineering documentation and lead the development of project quality deliverables.
  • Take full ownership of site daily reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date cost accrual records.
  • Lead the procurement lifecycle, including sourcing quotations, issuing purchase orders, managing deliveries, and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Manage complex relationships across vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal construction resources.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring compliance with all policies while taking personal ownership of project outcomes.


ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a disciplined and constructive communicator who thrives in high-pressure EPC environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Proven success in the simultaneous delivery of multiple EPC contractor projects.
  • A robust working knowledge of Australian and International Standards and relevant industry Codes.
  • The ability to lead multidisciplinary stakeholders and navigate complex project environments with a collaborative mindset.
