This is a "best of both worlds" opportunity to lead turnkey projects across the booming renewables, resources, and water sectors.

The Role

Based in Brisbane, you will lead the delivery of complex Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) projects (design and construct) across Southern Queensland and Northern NSW. As the division expands, you will play a key role in shaping the project delivery team and mentoring junior staff. You will have total ownership of your projects, collaborating with estimating and engineering to ensure flawless execution. Key deliverables:

• Full P&L responsibility for projects (up to $10M), managing budgets, variations, and reporting.
• Oversee all project functions including QA/QC, safety compliance, and schedule management.
• Build lasting relationships with principal contractors and end-users to secure repeat business.
• Mentor Project Engineers and junior PMs to build high-performance capability.

About You

You are a commercial-minded Project Manager with at least 8+ years of experience, specifically within the Industrial Electrical / E&I contractor space. You know how to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously without dropping the ball on safety or quality. Core Requirements:

• Proven track record delivering industrial projects (cradle-to-grave).
• Strong commercial acumen (managing claims, variations, and project financials).
• Technical understanding of electrical and utility codes/standards.
• High proficiency in MS Project and financial reporting tools.
• Highly Regarded: Tertiary qualification in Project Management (e.g., PMBOK).
