Are you an Engineer who thrives on solving "invisible" problems? Our client is a premier electromagnetic shielding specialist protecting mission critical infrastructure for the Defence, Medical, and Scientific sectors.

We aren't just looking for an employee; we are looking for a successor. You will be mentored directly by the Senior Engineer, an industry icon with over 30 years of experience. This role is a long term commitment featuring a structured training path designed to transform a sharp engineer into a specialised industry leader.

THE ROLE

We believe you can’t design a solution if you don't know how it’s built. Your journey begins with a “hands on" immersion:

• Spend significant time on-site observing the installation of copper enclosures and modular rooms. You will learn to identify physical deficiencies before you ever certify an installation.
• Learn to translate complex architectural drawings into sophisticated shielding reports for hospitals, data centers, and government "quiet areas."
• Work with "noise-canceling" active cancellation systems and perform theoretical simulations using MATLAB, MathCAD, or Mathematica.
•  You won’t be stuck behind a desk. You will spend 20–50% of your time in the field, from hospital wings to rural paddocks, using generators and specialised equipment to measure ambient EMF.
• Travel locally, interstate, and occasionally overseas to certify installations and consult with international principals.

ABOUT YOU

• You are an Australian Citizen (essential for our military and government contracts).
• Hold a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• You have the "math brain" for complex calculations but the practical grit to navigate a dirty, uncontrolled building site.
• You take pride in the "integrity" of your data and are looking for a "forever" role where you can build a highly specialised career.
• Proven ability to interpret building layouts and electrical distribution schematics.
