THE ROLE

As a Principal PCS Engineer, you will manage operational technology engineering projects across multiple industries. The main focus of the position will be assisting Senior Engineers with PCS, IT, Contracts and data analysis tasks. You will be resourceful, adaptable and some of your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the design, development, implementation and commissioning of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed our customers' requirements
• Assist with planning and scheduling project work for the office to ensure continuity
• Manage and report on overall project executions and financials for projects worked on
• Continual development and improvement of the company systems
• Develop reports, specifications and technical papers as required by the company and its clients

ABOUT YOU

You will be a proficient and driven engineer who fosters a proactive and forward-thinking mindset. As a successful candidate seeking a long-term role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• A minimum of 10 years post Engineering or IT Tertiary Qualification
• High level of knowledge of PLC, SCADA and IT/OT systems
• Extensive technical background in a on-premises environments including infrastructure networks, hardware, software, and telecommunications
• Flexible, consistent with a desire to lead
• Ability to monitor and guide automation projects from concept stages through to post commissioning support
