THE POSITION

As an Engineer, you will step into a critical, hands-on role reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and collaborating closely with project delivery teams. This position is a vital addition to the team to help support growing project demands and drive technical success.

Your day-to-day focus will involve:

• Handling electrical and control systems design works, such as functional specifications and technical drawings.
• Managing RTU, PLC, HMI, and radio configuration, programming, testing, and commissioning, alongside SCADA system development.
• Conducting radio and communications system design and analysis.
• Performing maintenance and diagnostics on associated hardware, including radios, antennas, RTU/PLCs, computers, and switchboards.
• Delivering client consultations, support, and technical sales assistance while ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.

We are seeking a proactive, autonomous professional with a strong work ethic and a common-sense approach to problem-solving. You should be highly confident in making logical decisions unsupervised, while maintaining a flexible, happy, and obliging attitude.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in electrical and control systems design and industrial automation delivery.
• Strong hands-on capability with RTU, PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Sound technical knowledge of radio and communications infrastructure, hardware diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations, stakeholder management, and team collaboration.
• A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adhering to workplace health and safety protocols.
